I am beyond excited to be heading back to Brooklyn for the very first NYC Gluten-Free Food Allergy Fest on July 28-29, 2018. It will be so great to see old New York City Celiac Meetup friends and met new gluten-free people at this event. The GFFAFest will be at the Brooklyn Expo Center which is right in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. As a matter of fact, I used to live on the same exact street! Come for the expo, stay for the awesome views of NYC just down the block at Transmitter Park, and maybe even happy hour after the event. I’m always up for drinks in Brooklyn.
March was a unexpectedly busy travel month. I kicked off March with a last minute trip to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. My husband and I literally booked the trip on Thursday and took off on Tuesday. Have you ever planned a trip in four days or less?
Happy 2018. Here’s to a year full of gluten-free travel!
My January kicked off to a great start with lots of travel both near and far. I rang in the new year in San Diego and rounded off the month with a trip back home to New York. I traveled close to 7,000 miles this month! I hope this is an indication of the adventures to come in 2018.
Read on to see where I went and what I ate in January.
I am keeping my finger on the pulse of all things gluten-free in New York City and I am excited to see so many completely gluten-free places continuing to open across the city.
Note: While these restaurants are no-gluten establishments, it is still very important to inform your server about your dietary restrictions! Also call ahead to make a reservation and confirm hours of operation.
Another month has come and gone and before we realize it, 2015 will be done. This past month was a whirlwind of gluten-free events and my first trip to France. My Paris posts will be chock full of information and I hope to have part 1 up later this week. In the meantime, visit my Facebook page for a sneak peek of all of the delicious gluten-free food I ate in Paris.
November is also a busy month with expos, travels, and Thanksgiving. I hope to see you at an upcoming event!
