I am beyond excited to be heading back to Brooklyn for the very first NYC Gluten-Free Food Allergy Fest on July 28-29, 2018. It will be so great to see old New York City Celiac Meetup friends and met new gluten-free people at this event. The GFFAFest will be at the Brooklyn Expo Center which is right in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. As a matter of fact, I used to live on the same exact street! Come for the expo, stay for the awesome views of NYC just down the block at Transmitter Park, and maybe even happy hour after the event. I’m always up for drinks in Brooklyn.

One week from today I am going LIVE! I often get emails and direct messages that ask me how I travel the world with celiac disease, what to pack, and what to eat in specific cities. I thought a Facebook live event would be a great way to share some of your most commonly asked questions and let you interact with one another in the comments section.
I have some exciting new things to share during the Facebook live event and everyone who attends will be entered to win a giveaway of exciting gluten-free prizes. You won’t want to miss it.
Do you have any specific topics you want me to discuss in this Facebook live? Either email me or leave a comment below.
Today is my 40th birthday. As I write those words, I honestly cannot believe I am turning 40 today. Where does the time go? I was bitten by the travel bug in my 20s and never looked back! This weekend, I celebrated with some wine tasting in Santa Cruz, California and a hike at the newly re-opened Mount Umunhum. Hiking my way into a new decade was a great idea.
March was a unexpectedly busy travel month. I kicked off March with a last minute trip to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. My husband and I literally booked the trip on Thursday and took off on Tuesday. Have you ever planned a trip in four days or less?
I’m heading to the Hoosier State! Join me in Indianapolis at the Gluten-Free Food Allergy Fest on September 23-24th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Catch me on the main lecture stage Saturday at 1:30pm and Sunday at 12:30pm where I will share my tip gluten-free travel tips and teach you had to plan a celiac vacation. I will also be on the main stage with the awesome twosome Michael and Cam from The Celiac Project Podcast and at the bloggers booth. If you see me walking around, come say hello! Don’t be shy. I love meeting my readers.

This is my first trip to Indianapolis and I am excited to add a new state to my travel list. (I think Indiana is #35?!)
Where should I eat? What tourist spots should I not miss? Most of my time will be inside the Indiana State Fairgrounds but I do have two evenings to explore this city before I fly out to the East Coast. I would love your gluten-free recommendations below.
