2021 Celiac Disease Virtual Events

One of the things I miss the most during this pandemic is connecting with the celiac community and networking with food brands in real life. In a normal year, I have usually been to at least two events by mid-February. While it is still not advised to meet with large groups in person, there are plenty of virtual events in the next few months where we can connect online. I am excited to share the following events with you.

Virtual Event: Surviving the Gluten-Free Holiday Season

We all need something to look forward to these days. For me, I am starting early by trying to get into the holiday spirit. Normally, I would scoff at anyone putting out Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. But this year, I think we can agree that we all are craving some holiday cheer. Just today, I noticed my local business improvement district started putting up Christmas lights and this made me so happy.

Gluten-Free Globetrotter at Gluten-Free Food Allergy Fest Brooklyn

I am beyond excited to be heading back to Brooklyn for the very first NYC Gluten-Free Food Allergy Fest on July 28-29, 2018. It will be so great to see old New York City Celiac Meetup friends and met new gluten-free people at this event. The GFFAFest will be at the Brooklyn Expo Center which is right in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. As a matter of fact, I used to live on the same exact street! Come for the expo, stay for the awesome views of NYC just down the block at Transmitter Park, and maybe even happy hour after the event. I’m always up for drinks in Brooklyn.
