You’re Invited: Celiac Project Film and Live Q&A

I invite you to a virtual Q and A with the director of The Celiac Project documentary at 8pm ET on May 26, 2022. I am co-moderating this panel with my friend Andrea Tucker, founder of Baltimore Gluten Free and Gluten Free College 101, and the host of a daily podcast, the Gluten Free News.

The Celiac Project is a dynamic, first-of-its-kind documentary about life before and after the diagnosis of celiac disease. Filmmaker Michael Frolichstein struggled with a series of “mystery ailments” before finally being diagnosed with celiac disease at age 40. His efforts to meet others who had suffered, as well as to get answers from experts, led him on a journey of discovery within his own family and beyond. This documentary explores what we can do individually and as a society to advance the conversation and raise awareness about celiac disease.

About Michael Frolichstein, film director and founder the The Celiac Project Podcast

Director and Producer of “The Celiac Project,” Michael Frolichstein is a well-respected editor, director, writer and producer with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Michael’s previous projects include work for A&E Biography, HGTV, Fox Television, Fox Sports, and the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs. After his long struggle and eventual celiac diagnosis, Michael focused his energy on making a film that would raise awareness about this often misunderstood condition. He hopes this film will lead to an increase in the rate of testing so that fewer people have to suffer.
