Stepping Up for Celiac: Canadians show they’re stronger than gluten this October.

You’re invited to join this important event. This virtual peer-to-peer fundraiser invites you to walk, run or ride 5 km or more in support of the 1 in 100 Canadians living with celiac disease through the month of October.

There’s no registration fee to join but the goal for this year is $70,000 by October 31. This year, funds raised go to Celiac Canada Research and Advocacy Funds, as they push forward on their search for a cure, more affordable gluten-free eating and safe labeling.

There are many ways to participate in the 2026 Step for for Celiac campaign

  1. Join a team and donate to the team
  2. Find a local event
  3. Create a team
  4. Create a personal page and ask your friends, family, and employer for donations
