Where in the world is Gluten-Free Globetrotter?

Pigeon Point Lighthouse, a short drive from my new home!

Hello friends. As some of you might know from Twitter and Instagram, I made it to the West Coast before the East Coast blizzard! I am so happy we left Brooklyn when we did because one week later and we would probably be stranded in a few feet of snow somewhere between New York and Texas.

My cross-country trip was amazing. We drove through thirteen states, four time zones, mountains, deserts, and more. I saw parts of the country that I never imagined could be so beautiful (New Mexico, I am talking to you!) Now I am settling into living in California and pinching myself at how close we live to the ocean. My cross-country adventures will be up soon.

I am diving head first into my travel planning for the year, much of which will consist of exploring California. I really cannot get over the beauty of the coastline here in Santa Cruz. It’s gorgeous here and it is a HUGE state to explore.

I hope to see and meet many of you either here in California or at one of the conferences I am attending over the next year. If you plan on attending any of these events, let me know!

  1. Hi Erin just wishing you all the best in your new venture in California keep up the good work, we have just booked for New York in December staying at the Hampton inn on 35th street any good delis or restaurants that do gluten free meals round there ,all the best Stephen and Ann ?

    1. Hi Stephen, congrats on booking your trip! In that area, I recommend Friedman’s and Madison Square Tavern. There is also a new food court that opened in Penn Station which isn’t far from there and the Little Beet has a booth in there. Be sure to check before you go though since restaurants in NYC open and close all the time. It’s a rough business!
