Note: There are a few “gluten-free” restaurants that have been removed from this list due to multiple reports of people getting sick, the addition of gluten to their kitchen, or unclear answers from the restaurants about their kitchen protocols. If you do not see a restaurant that you think should be on this list, please contact me directly. Otherwise, it is safe to assume that I took that restaurant down for a valid reason.

NO LONGER 100% GLUTEN-FREE

The Little Beet Table
The sit-down restaurant is no longer dedicated gluten-free. Regular, gluten-full bread and pasta have been added to the menu. Be sure to talk to your server!

Inday
Update from the restaurant: “First I want to let you know that our entire Inday classic menu is still 100% gluten free. The chapathi is a part of our new dinner offering and is the only item on our menu that contains gluten. Most importantly, from the moment that any gluten-containing ingredient arrives in the restaurant, it is handled separately. We store it in a designated container that is stored in an isolated location in the kitchen. Food using this ingredient is prepared in a specified area on a prep table that is thoroughly sanitized before and after each task. Additionally, we’ve scheduled prep time for the chapathi so that it does not overlap with other prep work. And finally, we have a designated cooking vessel dedicated only to cooking chapathi bread.”

La Esquina Taqueria Soho
La Esquina Taqueria Midtown
La Esquina UES
These restaurants seem to have a rotating menu that sometimes includes tortas (sandwiches) and non-GF desserts. Please check with them directly.

Brodo
Please note that Brodo now serves sourdough bread that is NOT gluten-free. There are still many gluten-free broth options which should be confirmed with the restaurant.
