Gluten-Free Pasta to Go: Hello, Pasta Flyer!

mainlogoA few weeks ago, I had a marvelous meal at Del Posto in New York City. Last week, the NYC Celiac Meetup Group was honored to have an event with Executive Chef Mark Ladner of Del Posto. Chef Ladner is launching a new Kickstarter project called Pasta Flyer and he wanted to introduce it to our group and the world. (You can read my full post about the event here.)

Pasta Flyer is a really cool concept. They deliver “soulful, Italian-style pasta to a hungry customer’s belly as fast as a bowl of Japanese ramen, for under $10.” What’s the best part about this pasta and the entire Pasta Flyer menu? It’s 100% gluten-free!

The Pasta Flyer Team plans on popping up in cities up and down the East Coast including New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Providence and Philadelphia. They are then going to start driving west to Chicago and finally ALL the way over to the San Francisco Bay Area.

I really love this idea and especially admire Chef Mark Ladner’s dedication to feeding the gluten-free community. Chef Ladner and his Pasta Flyer Team need your help. Please visit their Kickstarter page and make a pledge. Pledges start as low as $1 and every little bit helps!

I cannot wait to see the Pasta Flyer Pop-Up in New York City later this fall. If Chef Ladner’s food at Del Posto and our Meetup event were any indication of what’s to come, we are going to eat a gluten-free pasta feast with Pasta Flyer!

Pasta Flyer, coming soon to a city near you!
