Celiac in South America (Celíacos en América del Sur)

Source: 123teachme.com

When traveling to foreign countries, local support groups and bloggers are a wonderful source of information. I haven’t yet traveled south of the Equator, but I am hoping to make it there one day in the future. Argentina is at the top of my list!

  1. Erin-one of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants I’ve been to was in Buenos Aires. BIO is listed in many food/travel blogs as mainly vegan/vegetarian but they also had many gluten free meals and were very open to questions regarding their dishes. In a land where carnivores are king and steak is ever-present, BIO was a fabulous find for us. Hope you get to enjoy it one day just as much as we did. Cheers. xo

    1. Thanks Stacey! I just checked their menu and it looks like they clearly mark the dishes that are gluten-free. I usually avoid vegetarian restaurants because I love my meat, but this one looks good. Thanks for the tip!
